So far a most interesting and precise 3.8 version
I'm mainly using it to write a C#-based harness in the background while I'm working with my supervision.
This model correctly handles C# features like raw interpolation, it does not break line structure with edits.
I'm not trying to make it do a big job, rather a set of focused changes I'm interested in and this model does it very cleanly.
Thanks!!!
One more observation: this model is still not very eager to follow instructions in the system prompt e.g. it routinely adds comments and stuff even though by default system prompt prohibits it (unless per user request).
Generally it feels like it is much more focused on newer messages than on older ones.
Asking it again works. I guess I need to add a code review step to make it self-correct itself.
I'm using my own custom harness so maybe all big guys already have this and I don't.
P.S. how much time would it take to train a .Net oriented 27b model? E.g. less bash, more C#/IL/msbuild/pwsh, symbol navigation, precise edits etc.
