Dear Meta Llama Team,
My access request for meta-llama/Meta-Llama-3-8B-Instruct was rejected. I would like to respectfully request a manual reconsideration or have my request moved back to pending.
I am a Master's student conducting non-commercial academic research on vision-language models for computational pathology. I need this specific model to reproduce the published PathologyVLM / PA-LLaVA research, which uses Meta-Llama-3-8B-Instruct as its language model backbone.
The model will only be used for academic research, and I will comply with the Meta Llama 3 Community License.
I would greatly appreciate it if my access request could be reconsidered.
